Roma’s chief executive officer Umberto Gandini has moved to dismiss claims that goalkeeper Alisson could move on from the club in the summer. "We are not thinking about selling our best players. Right now we are living a very important phase of our season. This club have always changed many players to improve. The transfer window is dynamic, there are big teams that change their identity to improve and not for economical reasons." ___________________ With Real Madrid also reportedly interested, it will definitely be an interesting summer for Alisson - but it remains to be seen whether the Reds are actually interested. Jurgen Klopp is reportedly persuading the club’s board to sign PSG star Julian Draxler at the end of the season. That's according to TransfermarketWeb who say that Liverpool are determined to strengthen their attacking line even further by landing Draxler at the end of the season. The PSG star could leave the Parc des Princes. Draxler signed for the Ligue 1 giants from Wolfsburg in January 2016 and instantly established himself as a fan favourite. The Germany international has found game time tough to come by this season. Neymar and Kylian Mbappe’s arrivals have plunged him down the pecking order. And, as a result, a parting of the ways could be on the cards. Transfermarketweb say Klopp has been doing his utmost to persuade Liverpool to launch a bid. And his charm seems to be working with the club ready to make PSG an offer when the transfer window reopens. PSG are likely to command a big fee for Draxler but Liverpool have the might to get a transfer done. #lfc#ynwa#juliandraxler#draxler#livepool#liverpoolfc#weareliverpool#lfcfamily#lfcnews#anfield#thereds#premierleague#transferwindow#theredpost#psg
Liverpool and Real Madrid target Alisson has responded to the transfer rumours linking him away from Roma. The Brazilian has previously been dubbed the “Lionel Messi of goalkeeping” and is apparently wanted by Liverpool and Real Madrid. Jurgen Klopp is thought to be considering a move at the end of the season after failing to be impressed by Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet. Real have yet to really replace Iker Casillas who left in 2015 and Keylor Navas is not highly regarded at the Bernabeu. But Alisson has hinted at which club he would like to move to if he was to leave Roma. "Those links massage the ego, it cannot be denied," the keeper told. People get satisfaction from having recognition. I feel very happy to have that recognition. "It means that I am doing my job well, that they are watching me. Even more so when one hears about Real Madrid." However, Real’s top target appears to be Manchester United’s David de Gea. But if they cannot land the Spaniard then they will turn their attention to Alisson. #lfc#ynwa#alisson#alissonbecker#lafont#livepool#liverpoolfc#weareliverpool#lfcfamily#lfcnews#anfield#thereds#premierleague#transferwindow#theredpost#roma
Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly preparing to battle for Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak. Arsenal are said to be interested in taking Oblak to the Emirates to replace the ageing Petr Cech. The 35-year-old has often come under criticism for a string of uncharacteristic mistakes this season which have proved costly. And Spanish newspaper AS claim that Arsene Wenger has outlined Oblak as his number one target heading into the summer transfer window. However, Liverpool are also said to be interested in the Slovenian as they too have a goalkeeping crisis to sort at the end of the season. But Oblak will not come cheap, as AS claim he has a €100million (£88m) buy-out clause. The transfer fee would have to smash the world record amount ever paid for a goalkeeper. _____________ The Reds will undoubtedly be linked with a host of goalkeeping names this summer, but Jurgen is the kind of character to have faith in his players. A strong showing between now and the end of the season from Karius could see him entrusted to fulfil his potential next year.
