Out and about. While I can't wait for spring to really arrive - I'm also looking forward to next week when I'll be heading up north again. Longing for snow, sunshine and hopefully at least one night with northern lights before it gets too light outside again. Do you have any plans for Easter? #sweden#swedishmoments#visitsweden#tbin#inos
Tucked away just over 40 miles from Charlotte, North Carolina is an incredible animal sanctuary and education center called Rescue Ranch @rescueranch . Located in Statesville, this organization was founded in 2012 by Ryan and Krissie Newman. During a recent visit, I had the opportunity to learn about the incredible things they are doing and also meet some of their adorable Animal Ambassadors. Read more on my latest post. Link in bio.
I spent the afternoon yesterday hiking amongst this “Wonderland of Rocks" at Chiricahua National Monument about 30 miles outside of Willcox. Millions of years ago a volcano erupted spewing nearly 2,000 feet of volcanic ash. As it cooled and hardened, the ash welded together and formed unfathomable pinnacles of balancing rocks. The formation in this photo is Organ Pipe—I think you can see why. Unlike the Grand Canyon which receives more than 5 million visitors a year, Chiricahua receives roughly 50,000 making it a virtually undiscovered treasure. Don’t miss the chance to explore this beauty, it is truly special.
• YOGA BARE • Anyone else love yoga here? I'm off to my regular yoga class tonight but I have to say the view from the yoga studio @greenfarmkent was hard to beat, and it was a great class too - the teacher came round and put warm lavender scented wheat bags on our eyes at the end for shavasna and it was bliss! My review of the weekend art and yoga retreat is live on the blog now 🙏
