REAL and RAW comin at ya!!! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻 I didn’t want to post today, nobody wants to hear about me having a sucky day, right??? But its not about me, its about you, the people who count on me to be present.  My workout sucked today but I GOT IT DONE!  I wanted to eat a whole tub of cookie dough ice cream my hubby brought home yesterday but I DIDN’T (let me tell you I was so close)  Every day is not going to be a great day! Trust me! Some days you’ll feel on top of the world and other days you are just going to want to give up. Myles has been meditating since he was old enough to hum. I was stressed this week and asked him to teach me the mindfulness techniques they’re learning in school so he sat me down (criss cross applesauce obvi) and taught me some breathing exercises. (P.S. They work. Thank you 2nd grade life skills.) Woke up early enough to see the sun come up❤  So very thankful for this opportunity to truly unplug, relax, and spend some quality time with my fella. Omg! 25 min of core work kicked my butt!  A strong core is so important for function- meaning it can reduce back and joint pain and better posture which can help breathing!  It’s so important to work your whole body in a variety of ways so that it’s balanced and efficient!

WAAAAY back to...Sunday 😂 When I snapped these final pics after an 80 day journey that was, quite honestly? JUST the beginning...it’s AMAZING what can happen when you simply trust the process, quiet the noises in your head and take it day by day. 80 workouts before this, I was 26 lbs heavier and 23 inches wider. But above all that? I was feeling really negative about my body. Lacking confidence in my ability to commit to something I had already labelled as “hard”. I took one look at the timed macronutrient nutrition plan and immediately started thinking of ways I could change it to make it more “comfortable” for me and my busy schedule. But friends? I KNOW you’ve heard this before - if we don’t step out of that comfort zone, and open ourselves up to the possibility of change, we’ll never be blessed with the opportunity TO change! I won’t lie to you and say that these 80 days were easy...because they weren’t. I won’t tell you that I felt motivated every single day to workout, or that I didn’t mind when others were eating cupcakes and pizza while I couldn’t. But getting to that finish line? PROVING to myself that I could do it? Made it all SO damn worth it!  I’m headed into a second round starting Monday, and I’ll be honest - some of those fears of failing have started to creep back in, EVEN though I’ve done it before, but I’m going to take it day by day, lean into the support of my accountability group, and I’ll push my transformation even further! As a Mum, everything is focused on my kids. Everyone asks how they are and what they are doing. It feels at times as though I have become an invisible person. I am even introduced not as me but as someone’s Mum. A child will be happy if their parent is happy, yet so often people ask if they can help with the kids. Finally did it 😁  Did the double workout, Chris and Joel did not disappoint.  We started out of the gates with 50 burpees, 50 crunches, 50 speed jacks, and 50 agility moves. Then 40, 30, 20, and 10 of each with Chris. I died. I took breaks. I looked around me and saw others pushing through. That fired me up and back into the game I went!  Followed by a killer martial arts routine with Joel  where the workout high hit in FULL force. Like tingly goosebumps.  I walked out of the room so freaking pumped. I love this side hustle. Not only do I get to the care of myself and my family, I get to help others do the same.  You ready to FEEL that high?! Turn exercise into your therapy! While it might be hard to accept where you are-you’re frustrated, discouraged, defeated and frankly MAD at yourself for getting to where you are now-believe me-I get it-I used to be you... With the support of my tribe, personal development and consistency-I’ve come to accept that life is a journey and when I get off track, I know I can get back to where I want to be and not beating myself up! “Strong Mom” yet Burnt out ..? As mothers we always try to put up a strong face in any situation but there are moments in time in which we feel stressed,we don’t even realise how burn out we are and most of the times the frustration is out on the kids.. That guilt of - ▶️ shouting at the kids ▶️Feeding something wrong ▶️Allowing screen time ▶️Oh “too many chocolates today” ▶️ Why is my baby not gaining weight..? And the list is unending . . .  I personally experience this quiet often and am sure all mothers do, motherhood being the most selfless job can also be most exhausting and sometimes overwhelming.  It’s very important that we take some time out for ourselves , ditch that guilt within and do what makes us feel happy .. #amiright 🙋🏼‍♀️🤣 But seriously...what if you didn’t have to choose?  What if you didn’t have to feel guilty for enjoying ice cream, or pizza, or cake or wine 😱😱 What if you didn’t have to feel anxious about attending a party and “ruining” your progress?  What if there was a different way?  I have to say that I experience ALL of these emotions and often feel like a hostage to food-even though I’ve come a LONG way-I still struggle with my mindset around food and nutrition.
