I trained shoulders today, but went with light weights and increased the rep range ✨ truth be told you don’t always have to train heavy you can still get muscle growth with lighter weight and increased volume in your exercises ie. reps! shoulder boulder workout; ✨ activation warmup exercises ✨ lateral / front raises ✨ shoulder press w dumbbells ✨ rear delt flies ✨ upright row ✨ cable crossovers Enjoy babes! 💓

I will admit, I'm starting to really love the process of leaning out for many reasons. The same reasons I like to get a little bigger and stronger actually. It's not only about setting a goal - that's the easy part. It's about sitting down and really thinking about the steps you'll have to take to be successful. 💯 . For me, tracking my daily calories was the last thing I would've ever wanted to do but I couldn't figure out why I was in the gym 5x a week, working my tail off, without looking and feeling very good. The biggest revelation of mine has been paying attention to detail with my diet and manipulating different macros in order to reach my daily goal. In doing so, I started eating more vegetables, noticed that good whole foods really help in all areas (look, energy, performance) and I've also realized that carbs AREN'T the devil (unless you're a keto bro, it's all love tho 🤙🏼). Thank you to @jleofit_nurse for really teaching me the important things I needed to know about tracking my food. . Regardless of where you're currently at, make sure you fall in love with what you're doing. It really is an amazing feeling being able to push yourself to limits you once thought we're impossible. Delts, I command you to grow! Had a pretty good shoulder day, I hit a PR on seated dumbbell press with 100lb, and got 5. I usually go heavy on standing barbell press and then seated press but I did it reverse this time and it helps. Did seated military press next and, rear face pull, plate lateral raise, upright toes and then to seated dumbbell lateral raise superset with seated bent over lateral raise, and hitting shoulders all around. Happy hump day 😎
