Where I’d rather be... Vietnam πŸ‡»πŸ‡³πŸ˜
my day's far from over (but i apparently have time for instagram πŸ™„) so i'm currently longing for perfect ones that look like this. πŸ’
Castles are my speciality, but Schloss Augustusburg was built on the site of a medieval castle so that counts right? Located in Brühl, not too far from Cologne and easy to access via public transportation, the building and grounds are a must see if you have the time! πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ🏰
That was my first travel alone outside Europe back in 2012. I had my mind full of dreams and felt ecstatic by each place I was exploring and blessed by each person I would meet! Years passed and that sensation is less intense, not all the places impress I visit me so much anymore, seen many things, had lived many experiences, had many interesting encounters, and most important: have sooo beautiful memories. But sometimes it's time to make a little break of all of that.. and embrace new personal challenges.
Dunnottar Castle is probably the most dramatic castle I’ve been to in Scotland, and I’ve been to a lot πŸ˜‰ Definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re visiting Aberdeen! A little advice though ... Make sure you check the weather beforehand, or you’ll end up like me, completely drenched and refusing to leave until the rain stopped and I got a good photo πŸ™ˆπŸ˜…πŸ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏπŸ°
