WHEN THE MONK MEETS COCO CHANEL Some books are meant to be tasted, some books are meant to be chewed and finally some books are meant to be swallowed whole - said a very famous Monk who sold his Ferrari. This has been probably the most profound lesson I learnt in a long time. It brought so many memories from my childhood, and reflections about the wisdom I gained from famous, yet influential people. One of them is Coco Chanel. Regarded as the style icon, by so many women, her story is truly relatable to my life Here is what I learnt: 💜 my life didn't please so I created my life - I transitioned from building someone else's dreams to creating my own Parlour 💜 the most courageous act is still to think for yourself aloud - who knew telling my personal story could be that powerful 💜 in order to be irreplaceable one must always be different - there is only one ME, that is my superpower 💜 don't spend time beating on a wall, hoping to transform it to a door - certain things are out of my control, change will happen at the right time 💜 fashion has 2 purposes - love and comfort, beauty comes when fashion succeeds - I choose clothes which make me feel free. The meeting between the Monk and Coco Chanel is a true example of the Abudant Knowledge I experience everyday letting myself into the world of books. I don't just read them - study them, I test them and in many cases become ONE with them.
