I have deliberately grown this Monstera sp. ‘Peru’ to the top of its 1.5m length totem to cascade, in order to observe potential flowering. Cascading foliage has thus far retained juvenile form, with lengthened internodes and no signs of flowering following a further 1 meter of cascading growth. At 2.5 meters in stem length, comprising 1.5m ascending and 1m cascading, form is currently consistent with juvenile plants.
Monday sundown close-up with my queen 👸🏼I chopped her right back so I could propagate cuttings. She has made a great comeback and has so much happy and healthy new growth. The cuttings I took from her are also doing well! I recently transferred the cuttings from water to soil 💚 - K
