The plan was to stick to a comfortable set of 4 with a couple down sets to set me up for going after a heavy single next week. Well, I got greedy here with this 465lbs for 2, and 2 attempts at my goal weight for next week of 500lbs that did not seem to want to budge. These were my first sumo misses and stumble with the goal, and I was definitely in my head and intimidated. Redeemed myself a bit though with this solid set of 10 with 405 at the end (with a little butt cramp there though on the last few reps😳). I'm calling this a low catch power snatch at 96kgs into a failed attempt at a overhead squat. @elitefitfast said its not a power but I've chosen to ignore him 🤣. Training is going well for my 1st official comp in under 3 weeks.
