Steven sat with his arms spread out along the back of the bench, one foot propped on the seat opposite. Belinda leaned on the windowsill, breathing softly so as not to cloud up the glass. The air outside was crisp and still - not enough wind to clear the morning mist or stir the pinpoint tops of the pines. “It’s so fresh up here you can taste it,” she said, tilting her chin up. “It’s like copper. Or celery...” She turned to look at Steven, hoping that he’d say he knew exactly what she meant.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Well the boys are thrilled with this snow but I am not. I am supposed to be going to London tomorrow for my workshop on Tuesday and God knows if school will be on, or whether I can drive. Waaaah! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sooo frustrating 🤦♀️ When you work for yourself (and work mighty hard) it’s disappointing when things don’t go according to plan. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Keeping fingers crossed it all clears quickly. Have you got anything important coming up? Hope you manage to get there safe and sound my lovelies🤞
Someone (clever) was talking to me recently about our minds and he was explaining just how large they are. He talked about massive expanse of landscape and I immediately imagined the crater in Israel we visited last summer. Anyway the visual is to help us take a step back and see that any thought in our mind is actually tiny if a crater this large can be housed there too. Does this make any sense? The man (as I said) is really clever and probably described it better.
It’s snowing again, which means no rugby for Magnus and more time in bed. I’m not too upset and there’s coffee so.. #slowsunday it is! Now what to watch?! Any suggestions? Have a nice relaxing Sunday all! #ofquietmoments
On the weekends, lunch is always late. We're still at home, now it's time to get ready and head off to eat some pizza by the river... How is your day so far? Do you keep your usual schedule during the weekends?
