This temple located on the top of Chamundi Hills🏰🌟🖤🌄😇☯️ In fact, the whole hill is named after the Goddess, so as to honour her and her victory. The rulers of Mysore patronised this temple and considered Chamundi Devi as their protector and guide. The temple was built in 12th Century and is a shining example of Dravidian architecture. The temple is 7 storeys tall with intricate carvings. It is said that the statue is made of pure gold and the temple doors made of silver.
