Here’s 3 from today and sadly down to 165lbs. The past two weeks have been a total spell of depression with being told I “can’t lift” due to some personal health reasons. I’m down a solid 8 lbs, I’ve gained back some water, and I’ve felt lethargic. Well guess what? I CAN and WILL. The gym is my sanctuary, my place of solace, and my training is the only place where I’m completely focused on everything I can do to better the one person I have control over. Me. This is where I think about my future, my aspirations, and the kind of man I want to grow to be, not just the aesthetic of a “bodybuilder”. Over the course of the past several years I’ve battled being a defeatist, which is not in my blood nor ever been my demographic. The last couple of months, including having the opportunity to partner with an amazing group of people and motivators in @redcon1 and @rexiusnutrition_lincoln have totally put me back on course for success. Now I have other people to look forward to helping, and not just myself. In my experience, the greatest form of self help has been helping others first. Although at times I feel like I’m in a hole and I could be accomplishing much more, I know that my drive will never let up and at some point, I will impress even myself with varying types of success. Don’t ever let anybody tell you or anything stop you from becoming the best you can be, not only for yourself, but your loved ones. I promise you, it’s never the end, and it’s never worth giving up. No matter how deep you think you are or where you think you personally lack, there’s always the next day to improve. If you’ve read this completely, I hope it has some sort of impact and brings light into your day. Keep pushing. If you have goals, NEVER fucking quit. Ever. I have a long way to go, but I have the right support, and there are no limits. ♦️POWERED BY: @redcon1 @ares.clothing @violentprofessional @chasing_death_apparel @rexiusnutrition_lincoln ♦️
Brother Born is excited to welcome its newest Member, Tomahawk SteelWorx!! It is owned by Lloyd Morris (far left) of the 75th Ranger Regiment and opened its doors in September of 2017. Tomahawk SteelWorx is a metal fabrication business that primarily builds signs, furniture, art, and decor, as well as custom equipment. To create each piece, they use recycled parts of old cars, tools, and machinery to add style and breathe new life to a scrap of metal that would otherwise be rusting away somewhere. Their goal is to offer high-quality, individualized, hand-built products for a true industrial or steampunk finish at affordable prices. Go to brotherborn.com to read about Lloyd and Tomahawk SteelWorx (under Goods) and check out his pics. You seriously won’t believe how talented he is! He’s got some really cool product shots and you can click through to his website to check out even more. Brother Born is extremely proud to have Lloyd on board as he implements the never quit Ranger mentality while pursuing new dreams through the innovation of Tomahawk SteelWorx.
