You don’t get legend like status at @realfitnesspt without the work  This weeks legend in action doing some hard sprints in the @assaultairbike  Andrea is our legend this week for her awesome results through the 66 ByRFT.  Andrea has made some big shifts with her nutrition making sure she tracks her food and hits her macros while making sure she gets plenty of water in. Another great change Andrea has made is been more conscious of her daily activity, away from her Pt session she now makes sure she gets out and about on her property in kurrajong to hit those daily steps  With these awesome changes Andrea is over 5kgs down. We can’t wait to see her results from the dexa scan in a weeks time  Well done legend! Keep up the awesome work

DAY 3: At the start of each heated Yin Yoga session, the instructor often asks us to set an intention for the class. While I would usually have my intention to be healthy, to be more flexible or to be relieved of stress and tension, today I realized that intentions don’t always need to be for yourself. They can be for other people too. I had always thought that intentions were supposed to be goals you want to reach, but after looking up the difference between intentions and goals, this is what I found: “Goals are focused on the future. Intentions are in the present moment. Goals are a destination or specific achievement. Intentions are lived each day, independent of reaching the goal or destination.” I really like this message, and I hope you are able to set intentions for yourself and for other people. You can set them when you wake up in the morning, or you can set them before embarking on an activity, such as exercise or attending a class. Overall, I think intentions are meant for you to be more present in the moment and to have a sense of being grounded in the place, time and space that you are in currently. It helps with feeling more at peace and  brings up a sense of gratitude. Knowing this, what intentions do you want to set? • In the morning, today’s F45 HIIT session was “22: PAIRED CARDIO.” I was a little tired today because I stayed up late last night doing weight training, but I managed to get through the class. I could have pushed myself a little harder in the beginning of class, but it’s okay because I can try again tomorrow and give it my all. Today I lost 637 calories in class and had an average heart rate of 157 BPM. • The meal plan for the day started with a Coconut And Berry Yogurt Bowl, followed by Simple Boiled Eggs for a morning snack. Lunch was Raw Zucchini And Prawn Salad. Wow! I have never eaten zucchini raw before. This meal plan is a real experience in flavor and culinary adventures. The afternoon snack was a

You know I like about fitness? You don’t have to color inside the lines for it to be perfect. There isn’t only one way to do it. Let’s be real here, as a mom the biggest thing I feel is  G U  I L T.  Guilt for everything, but especially for allowing myself “fitness time.” My kids are in school everyday, while I’m at work so our window of “togetherness” is small throughout the week. So the husband & I decided instead of gym membership, we would invest in some “necessities” for a garage gym. Best decision ever. I’ve been including the kids in my workouts so they are getting exercise too. It’s cool our togetherness time has just changed a little, for the better. I want them to know it’s important to take care of your body! So for those mamas that think you can’t do it(I’ve been there) you can. You may have to alter your “idea” of fitness or workout plan....color outside the lines. Do what works for you!
