Happy Saturday!! - It’s a dreary, rainy morning here and I’m working on client check-ins, some new projects and looking forward to Church tonight with my family! - I have a lot of new people to my page so I thought today, I’d share 10 random facts about me!๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป‍โ™€๏ธ - 1. I was born and raised in Kansas, and have always lived here.๐ŸŒป . 2. I have been married almost 13 years to my high school sweetheart, Chris and we have 2 kids, 11 and 9 years old, but I still don’t feel mature enough to have kids that old.๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿ‘ง‍๐Ÿ‘ฆ . 3. I love Jesus and wouldn’t be where I am at today if He wasn’t in my life!โœ๏ธ . 4. I have had 2 back surgeries for herniated disks, the first surgery happened when I was 15 years old. But I don’t let it slow me down.๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป . 5. I can out eat most people, especially if it’s breakfast food or ice cream.๐Ÿฆ . 6. I am extremely introverted, but have worked very hard over the last year to get out of my comfort zone and find my passion.โœŒ๐Ÿป . 7. I have rewatched all the seasons of both Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives, more times than I’d like to admit.๐Ÿ˜ณ . 8. I am very stubborn and don’t like being told I can’t do something. It only makes me push harder and do better at it (like running a half marathon on a stress fracture in my leg).๐Ÿคท๐Ÿป‍โ™€๏ธ . 9. I hate taking showers because I’m just going to be at the gym again the next day, so what’s the point?!๐Ÿ˜‚ . 10. I have always hated team sports, because I am super uncoordinated and don’t like objects flying at me. I didn’t grow up as an athlete and still to this day, I just see myself as just an average person. Hence where the name #halfletefitness came from.๐Ÿ˜Ž . 11. Ok I said 10, but I’ve got one more. I LOVE helping other people change their lives for the better, educating people and talking about all things health and fitness. My sweet little dude. He's back on oral steroids (he takes inhaled ones twice daily). He was up at 7:30 despite being exhausted because his body as all wired and crazy right now. So, hes napping before we go hiking๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™.. he has managed to handle school like a champ despite starving (he's always hungry and has certain cravings from the meds) and is moody af. But his teacher said she could barely tell a difference and I'm so damn proud of him. I am raising a future man, I don't spank, ground or any punitive punishment, he was raised to do right of his own accord and not from fear. He is now the most respectful, thoughtful, empathic, wildly passionate in his beliefs, hilarious, gross (loves a good fart joke) human I know.
