This weeks #mealprep included my favorite greek zucchini salad... I was too lazy to get out the zoodler so chopped zucc works 🙃 It's helpful adding ingredients to a myfitnesspal recipe as you go so you tweak the macros with ingredient amounts. I was happy that this veggie side came out to 3.6 net carbs and 17f between olive oil, avocado, and olives!

Good morning ... I’ve decided to go back to intermittent fasting, the 5 & 2. What this means to me is that I practise self discipline for 2 days of the week then for 5 I can do what I want ☺️ But I do find that because of the changes that are made within ones mind on those 2 fasting days, you start to be conscious of what you put in your mouth on the 5 normal days, this old habits & eating patterns start to fade away. You feel lighter, healthier, experience a lot less cravings, you are basically giving your body a break for 2 days a week. A break from over eating, over indulging, which in this day & age is a very common thing. Everyone does the 5 & 2 differently, you gotta find your groove with it, for me I still like to have my 3 meals a day because I need fuel. To stay under the 500 calorie allowance I stay away from meat, dairy, sugar, fruit, carbs & oil. And obviously no alcohol. I call it a health day as opposed to a fasting day because really it’s not fasting. It’s a taking care of my body day. Breakfast usually looks like this, 2 boiled eggs, some sprouts & some grated carrot & daikon that I pickled last night in apple cider vinegar & sea salt. Well, here I go.... Getting my head back into the game whether I like it or not. I really want Chocolate Fropro for breakfast but I’ll be chugging down some ACV warm water and salt instead! I’ll also be implementing your suggested health tips over the coming weeks.
