Today has been really challenging. I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was riddled in anxiety after some nasty nightmares. I tried channeling some of my manic energy into reorganizing my lady cave (mostly to procrastinate cleaning it) but wound up moving everything back where it was, but with twice the mess to clean up. Finally David decided we were going to get out and enjoy this day. He took me to our favorite taco place, despite my arguing that it was too far away. Then afterwards, he insisted we go on that bike ride we've been planning for days now. I went begrudgingly, but after 8 miles in the last brisk hours of daylight, I have to say I'm glad I did. Willingness over willfullness, and all that... voor het eerst in weken buiten rennen. al jenkend bijna m’n snelste 5k gelopen. dat dan weer wel. komt denk ik door m’n hysterische schoenen en een raar hangend arm op de foto. achteraf jenkend van het lachen om m’n gejenk tijdens het lopen. #dramaqueen iets met dingen in perspectief zien. #mindset wie is er ook een dramaqueen tijdens het trimmen/ sporten?
