First time loading the bar on snatch for more than 1 rep 🤪 65# here 🤣 strength today was #powersnatch for load 5x5 💪🏼 . I am working on loading my hamstrings and foot placement. @jessicargriffith & @mikehalliburton is it better than dead’s the other day?? 😅 . 2nd video is our conditioning work. Every 2 mins: . 8 hang squat cleans 💪🏼 8 dips Remaining time max handstand walk/hold. . I don’t quite have handstand walks (an understatement) so I was working on holding a handstand with my feet off the wall. Proud of the progress I’ve made in this area 🙌🏼 it’s honestly not easy to hold my fat ass upside down for that long 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 . I am working on getting under the bar quicker on my squat cleans as well. Coach had me try it on the rounds after this & I was way less winded and probably could have increased my weight. Next time 👊🏼 . After my third baby my abs were WRECKED. I had absolutely zero 🚫core strength. I've been doing Crossfit for over a year and I have definitely felt myself getting stronger, but I wasn't really seeing much of it. My tummy was insanely bloated every single day and I just couldn't put my finger on exactly what was causing it (which is beyond frustrating when you've already been down that road, only now the answers have changed). My efforts in the core department were being completely covered by fluff. Thankfully I'm finally figuring it out! 🎉 I've been on a raw vegan diet eating only organic raw fruits and veggies and the inflammation in my body is drastically decreasing by the day! (Take that Keto 👊🏻 😄) And guess what? I have abs! 🙌🏻 I can not tell you what a struggle it has been for me over the last two years trying to get my health back under control. I am nowhere near the finish line, but I'm so thankful to finally be on the right track. And I'm so excited to actually see the effect that Crossfit is having on my body. 👏🏻 🙌🏻 So guys, never stop fighting for your wellness. Don't get discouraged if the latest diet trends are not yielding the same results as someone else around you. You're gonna figure out what your body is calling for.
