Not the best lighting but I did a little corrective work on this new client. Behind her existing strokes (which you can’t see too well in the top pic) her shading had turned a salmon color. Sometimes corrective work can take a few more sessions. A consultation is mandatory before I book someone for corrective work. I need to see what I will be working with to give a realistic outcome. Sometimes it can be corrected in as little as two sessions sometimes it can take 5! I will always ask you “do you want it done quickly or correctly?” This particular client will most likely need three sessions total (4-6 weeks apart). The bottom pic is a color correction with a light machine powderfill. She will come back for a second session where I will add back in some hair strokes and adjust the shape a bit more. Then a third session to touch up the healed work.
GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS VS SELF RIGHTEOUSNESS The very credentials these people are waving around as something special, I’m tearing up and throwing out with the trash—along with everything else I used to take credit for. And why? Because of Christ. Yes, all the things I once thought were so important are gone from my life. Compared to the high privilege of knowing Christ Jesus as my Master, firsthand, everything I once thought I had going for me is insignificant—dog dung. I’ve dumped it all in the trash so that I could embrace Christ and be embraced by him. I didn’t want some petty, inferior brand of righteousness that comes from keeping a list of rules when I could get the robust kind that comes from trusting Christ—God’s righteousness. I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him to death itself. If there was any way to get in on the resurrection from the dead, I wanted to do it. Phillipines 3:7-11 So very often, when we have enjoyed a privilege for a while, we convert it to a right. What other place can this be manifested in our daily lives than when we take that spilt of a second to judge someone by our morals and good deeds? I'd never do that, you say forgetting that it is the grace of God that has kept you all along. We become over confident like Peter and the next moment we are swearing through our actions that we have never met Jesus. The problem is that you stopped trusting in his grace. We thought we were strong enough so God decided to show us exactly how strong we were- by withdrawing the grace he has offered us. Soon our wretchedness is laid bare and we beat up ourselves instead of recognising our folly and returning to the father of Grace. Eventually when we return, we still go back to the same old way, howbeit in a different form. #christian#grace#love#corrections#engaginglives#foodforthought#bible#mercy
