More food sampling at Coachella 2018 in Indio, California revealed some interesting choices. We sampled the “impossible burger” at the Monty’s Good Burger stand and found it quite lacking. The burger is made with a compound called “leghemoglobin” that is supposed to impart a meaty flavor to the vegetarian patty but really did not deliver. We found the patties to be dry and unsatisfying-which may have been in part how it was cooked? #therealdish Don’t worry though, you can get a $20 satisfying double cheeseburger at Jackalope Burger stand down the way. 😂 The_base stand had some interesting (and $) drinks that included charcoal and butterfly pea tea. -Cookie Monster Ice Cream- This was our last stop on our San Diego weekend! The first picture was of their cookie dough ice cream sandwich. It was unique but seemed like there wasn’t enough ice cream in it. The second picture was of their milk and cookie ice cream. It was super good and tasted just like it’s name. We were looking forward to trying some of their different option, but they were out of a ton of their big menu items. Kinda weird for a Saturday afternoon.
