Three months passed for 2018. I chose to start a new chapter in life. Sometimes I felt lost, frustrated and questioned about my decision. After a sip of coffee, I realized again that this is my choice, and I chose it for reasons. So just keep going and be responsible. While triathlon brought me qualities beyond physical fitness, coffee also gives me things other than bitterness and caffeine❤️ The one who can give me up is myself. I will be back. #keepgoing#balance#life#cestlavie#powerup#coffee#coffeeaddicts
Working the basic skills. It terms of the traditional periodised training pyramid of endurance, hypertrophy, strength and power we often forget what is possibly the first and most important step. The motor skills. The basic motor skills help us to develop our nervous processes and movement skills which in turn will allow us to progress our functional push/pull patterns more efficiently. I use the above drill in rest periods or between exercises which helps utilise my rest period actively and develops the basic motor skills. Also it's just good fun.
Happy Saturday💃🏼 I wanted to take a minute to talk about weekends! . Before I started my health & fitness journey, I was one of those people that (1) tried to out train a bad diet with workouts and (2) would eat relatively healthy all week then binge on the weekends. It wasn’t until I actually started “counting” the weekends as part of my journey that I began to see progress! I kept feeling like I had to start over every Monday and that is exhausting! . Do I still enjoy myself on the weekends? Absolutely! This girl has a sweet tooth like no other 🍪🍰🍦. However what I don’t do is use 5pm on Friday as an excuse to feed my body crap for 3 days straight 😮 When I finally changed my mindset about the weekends, that is when I found my healthy balance 🙌🏼 . Meal pictured (Roasted salmon, 🥦, asparagus, and quinoa) is from last night - a Friday night, not a Monday or Tuesday. Try living a more balanced weekend and let me know what you think! I promise come Monday your body will thank you 😉. . . . . . . #balance#healthylifestyle#postpartumfitness#healthyfood#fitnessjourney#fitfam#tiuteam#tiumom#fitmama#eatclean#cleaneats#leancleangreen#leanbodybabe#trainlikeababe#nutrition#tiumeals
