Molcajete • A stone tool used for grinding various products. This is the traditional Mexican version of the mortar and pestle. • Take a look at my story or in my healing highlights to see how I used the molcajete to grind copal resin into a powder. • I sprinkled the copal powder over a burning charcoal which kept the bugs away so we could enjoy the jungle at night from our patio here in Mexico.
∞ What's up with these vibes soul fam? ∞ My energy has been up and down. I'm tired or revved to go. I'm making my space, my body, my mind sacred AF and still got the funk finding me. I'm staying present with it intending that it soon passes. ∞ Photo by the hilarious, wildly handsome gun bunny, unicorn @terminal_casey 🙏 ∞ Follow @thecountryclairvoyant for your daily dose of country fried kundalini ∞ #soulfamily#sage#lightwerkinheaux#sacredspace#countryfriedkundalini#thecountryclairvoyant
FOR THEM... We visited a fort in Puerto Rico and I thought of the Taino, the original people of that island, and the West Africans ... How some chose to endure harsh treatments because of their loved ones ... And for the same reason many took their lives ... I wondered did any of my ancestors come thru that port ... So I touched the bars to connect with those who may be physically gone but still remain in spirit ... Remain in my DNA ...For them I am thankful for the sacrifices made ...For them I choose to die to myself in many ways daily ... In honor of the Taino and West Africans 🙏🏽 ... #tbt#throwbackthursday#sanjuan#puertorico#writerwhotravels#writer#inspiration#grateful#ancestors
