It's no wonder @akiwang of @indulgebistro is so respected, both in Taiwan and internationally. He puts so much passion, generosity, creativity and most importantly, thoughtfulness into every aspect of his restaurant and bar. Here, he conceived an East-meets-West Old Fashioned called the Triology Palate: 3 kinds of rum (Nusa Cana from Bali, Mount Gay black barrel and Mount Gay XO), Mancino Chinato, pork jerky and seaweed garnish, finished with few drops of truffle oil. Gotta say, my photography has come a long way since my early Instagram posts....cringe! 🤣🙈 Always trying to improve and produce better results with the limited equipment I have - I certainly don’t have a professional kit, and usually I’m shooting in a crowded restaurant. One of the highlights when dining at @narisawapress in Japan is the bread course. It is served to the table whilst still 'cooking' by candlelight. Once it is ready (after a few courses), the waiter pops the bread out to further bake in a stone pot before serving with a beautiful moss like butter made with dehydrated black olives and parsley. . . Currently ranked number 2 in #asias50best and number 18 on the @theworlds50best. . .
