@beauwilliamspoet has a way with people that I will never have and will hardly ever understand and I am so thankful today and everyday for the light, joy, adventures, and friends he has brought into my life in the short time I’ve known him. I hope we end up on the other side of the world together again at some point.

So one of the things I’m super excited to do for all of my wedding clients this year (and those I’m sharing with other phenomenal professionals) is include a photo of the night sky on the day of their celebration. I’m a Midwest girl, and after living in the New England area for the last couple of years, nothing gets me like a wide-open sky. My apartment, for instance, is on the 7th floor of a building downtown, a perch that I chose specifically for its ability to make me feel small as I look out into the sunrise. I think there is strength in the reminder of our relative size and scope of influence in the universe. It does not make me feel threatened to be dwarfed by the endlessness of space, I find that it connects me to other human beings and centers my feelings about focus and purpose, and that sort of calm is a gift I’m going to intentionally share this year. Anyway, here goes. 🤷🏼♀️✨
