Omg! 25 min of core work kicked my butt! A strong core is so important for function- meaning it can reduce back and joint pain and better posture which can help breathing! It’s so important to work your whole body in a variety of ways so that it’s balanced and efficient!
“You have to love your body where it’s at-otherwise when you reach your goal you’ll still be unhappy”-I butchered that quote from Shaun T. But you get the idea! While it might be hard to accept where you are-you’re frustrated, discouraged, defeated and frankly MAD at yourself for getting to where you are now-believe me-I get it-I used to be you... With the support of my tribe, personal development and consistency-I’ve come to accept that life is a journey and when I get off track, I know I can get back to where I want to be and not beating myself up! What if you didn’t have to feel guilty for enjoying ice cream, or pizza, or cake or wine 😱😱 What if you didn’t have to feel anxious about attending a party and “ruining” your progress? What if there was a different way? I have to say that I experience ALL of these emotions and often feel like a hostage to food-even though I’ve come a LONG way-I still struggle with my mindset around food and nutrition. And just like that, I’m back to the beginning-day 1/67! Some might think that’s discouraging-to reach the finish line just to start over again-but to me it’s exciting! You see-I’ve come to understand that my fitness is not a destination-it’s a lifestyle-so I’m constantly evolving and changing and workin on being better! It’s actually a RELIEF and takes the pressure off! I’m so excited to be back to 30 min workouts and going to CRUSH the next 2 months! Who wants in🙋🏼♀️
My news feed has been blowing up with my friends sharing their AHHHMAAAAZING results from our newest 80 day program and I couldn’t be happier for them, but now it’s my turn 🎉🎉 — The truth: I actually ended up gaining 3 lbs 🙈😱 I have to say I was a little 🤬🤬 about it.. BUT- I LOST 11.5 inches-which means I gained lean muscle-which still boggles my mind 🤯 I actually didn’t believe my measurements-I took them 3 times to verify 🤣 😜 — This proves that trusting the process and taking pictures and measurements are KEY! You may not be able to see the changes yourself! I have to be honest this was the HARDEST 3 months of my life in so many ways and it has proven so many things: — 💪 I can do hard things 💪I can get up earlier to do a longer workout 💪 I can do timed nutrition (far from perfect-but still way different than my norm) 💪My biggest obstacle is MYSELF — Now it’s YOUR turn! Are you ready to prove to yourself that you can get the results you’ve been looking for? — My next group starts April 23rd and there’s still room for YOU! Let’s kick some butt TOGETHER!
That terrifying moment when your spouse wakes you from a deep sleep at 4am saying they’re about to pass out. Some of you know our history with this usually ends up with a hospital visit-thankfully that didn’t happen today-we took it slow and almost two hours to get him back to bed. Now he’s on strict bed rest with orders to drink Lots of fluids and move slowly! Definitely scary! In other news- While he is resting Kayla and I went for a run and a stretch to get her ready for her track meet next week-she’s a FAST runner and kicked my butt!!
Only ONE more workout to go on my 80 day journey! I cannot believe it 🎉🎉 — I’m EVEN MORE excited about what’s next! Coming soon we will be launching a program all about overcoming food addiction, emotional eating and establishing a healthy relationships with food and the scale! — I don’t know about you but that sounds so refreshing and freeing! — I’ve always struggled with emotional eating and unhealthy relationship with the scale. Cardiooooo for the win today!! I have to be to work an hour earlier today, I could have used that as an excuse to skip my workout or do later today. But I know myself and that would not happen-something ALWAYS comes up! So instead I set my alarm 10 min earlier and swapped for a shorter workout. That’s REAL life-going with the flow and adapting to what life throws at you-because it WILL throw you some doozies. So stay focused and everything will fall into place! Happy Friyay eve 🎉😍
Well looky what I found! My weight lifting gloves! Seems only appropriate I’d find them when my program is 3 workouts from the the end 🤣🤷♀️🙈 I’m glad I did though cuz that was a doozy!!!
